Girl Scout Week - Day 5: Be a leader!

In celebration of Girl Scout Week, we're encouraging girls and volunteers to take part in activities that show the world what it means to be a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™. These are the traits that define girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Leaders are confident, responsible, and committed to changing the world for the better. Every year, Girl Scouts collectively spend more than 75 million hours improving their communities.

Here are some things you can do today to be a leader:
  • Wear your Girl Scout uniform to school to show your Girl Scout pride.
  • Organize a food or clothing drive at your school.
  • Interview a community leader or someone in a career you’re interested in pursuing.
  • Visit a local police or fire station to deliver a small thank you gift or treat.
