Girl Scout Week - Day 3: Be an Innovator!

In celebration of Girl Scout Week, we're encouraging girls and volunteers to take part in activities that show the world what it means to be a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™. These are the traits that define girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Innovators think outside the box and are always looking for a creative way to take action. Clear correlation: 75 percent of current female senators were Girl Scouts!

Here are some things you can do today to be an innovator:
  • Develop plans for your own invention and present it to your troop, Shark Tank-style!
  • Visit the Made With Code website (madewithcode.com) to create a project using code.
  • Think of a problem in your community or in the world and come up with some creative ways to take action and address the issue.
  • Invent a new outdoor game. Play it outside for 20 minutes.
