Every year, customers help Girl Scouts from GSWPA send delicious Girl Scout Cookies to our U.S. military active duty and veteran service member organizations by donating to Operation: Sweet Appreciation.More than two dozen soldiers were set to deploy to Afghanistan after an emotional ceremony in August at John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport.
The local Apache pilots and crew members from the 151st Aviation regiment talked about their deployment and what it means to them to fight for our country.
Girl Scouts from troops 46321 and 46244 loved getting to explore and meet the soldiers who would be receiving their cookie donations.
