Seeking Girl Scout artists in western Pennsylvania

Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania has began a council-wide search for a remarkable, original piece of art to feature on the organization's annual holiday card.

The theme for the contest is Girl Scout Winter Adventurer. We're looking forward to seeing your best works of art that show what Girl Scouting during the winter season means to you.

Remember that as part of the Get Outdoors Winter Challenge, Girl Scouts in western Pennsylvania were challenged with various tasks to help capture the beauty of winter. With activities like drawing or taking pictures of winter trees, making snow paint and snow sculptures, or going on a winter landscape photo expedition, you should have ended up with some really special works of art! Consider submitting these works to the Holiday Card Art Contest.

Or, create a brand new masterpiece the next time the season sparks inspiration! Here are the details of the contest:

ELIGIBILITY: Artwork must be an original and created by a Girl Scout from the Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania council. The contest is open to Daisies through Ambassadors! All mediums and formats are encouraged and accepted. The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 30.

ENTERING THE CONTEST: To officially enter the Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania Holiday Card Art Contest, use the form below (or click here to open the form in a new window) to submit your information and your work of art or a photo of your work of art.
