9-11 a.m. -- Choose from the following trainings: Outdoor 101, Junior Grade Level, Traditions, Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Grade Level, Daisy Grade Level, Brownie Grade Level, Conflict Resolution, or Journeys.
11-11:30 a.m.-- SWAP Sharing
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. -- Lunch/GSWPA Panel
12:40-4 p.m. -- Choose from the following trainings: New Leader Training, Basic Camping, Traditions/SWAPs, Songs & Games/Crafts; Metals Workshop (Overview of Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards)/Tips & Tricks for Leaders, Service Unit Manager Training, or Crafts.

Trainings Descriptions:

Brownie Grade Level  Learn what's important to girls at this grade level and how to relate to them.  Topics to be covered include age progression, how to organize troop meeting time, sample troop meetings, safety guidelines and activities, age characteristics, girl/adult planning, recognitions, troop government, and ceremonies, including flag, investiture and bridging - and much more!
 
Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Grade Level  Learn what's important to girls at this grade level and how to relate to them.  Topics to be covered include age progression, how to organize troop meeting time, sample troop meetings, safety guidelines and activities, age characteristics, girl/adult planning, recognitions, troop government, and ceremonies, including flag, investiture and bridging - and much more!
 
Conflict Resolution  One of the hardest parts of being a leader or a service unit manager sometimes is figuring out what to say in those difficult situations.  Attend this workshop to find out ways to handle those tough situations with Girl Scout grace.
 
Daisy Grade Level  Learn what's important to girls at this grade level and how to relate to them.  Topics to be covered include age progression, how to organize troop meeting time, sample troop meetings, safety guidelines and activities, age characteristics, girl/adult planning, recognitions, troop government, and ceremonies, including flag, investiture and bridging - and much more!
 
Journeys Workshop  Learn it, live it, love it!  A guide through the Journeys with tips, tools and activities that will have loving the Journeys too!  How do you start at Journey?  How do you know when it's done?  Can the girls work on a Journey and badges at the same time?  These answers and more!
 
Junior Grade Level  Learn what's important to girls at this grade level and how to relate to them.  Topics to be covered include age progression, how to organize troop meeting time, sample troop meetings, safety guidelines and activities, age characteristics, girl/adult planning, recognitions, troop government, and ceremonies, including flag, investiture and bridging - and much more!
 
Outdoor 101  Prerequisite: Girl Scouting 101
This hands on two-hour training course focuses on age-appropriate activities, outdoor progression, facility reservation procedures, safety hazards in the out-of-doors, fire safety when using fireplace and planning in partnership with girls for a lodge camping experience.

 
Traditions  Come to this fun workshop to learn about Girl Scout Traditions and Ceremonies.
 
Basic Camping Skills  Prerequisite: Outdoor 101

This four-hour course focuses on understanding how to make, use and extinguish a campfire; tips on planning, preparation and clean-up steps for a cookout; learning basic tool crafts and elementary knots; making simple meals; knife safety; graces to use in the camp setting; and learning how to work in partnership with girls for outdoor cooking experiences.  This course is geared toward, but not limited to troop leader of girls in grades 2-5.  Completion of this training allows you to stay overnight in lodges and cabins at council – owned properties, and to lead cookouts and have camp fires.  It is also required for any outdoor cooking or fire building at any site- including non – Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania properties.
Crafts S1  This workshop will provide you with great activities to share with your girls.
 
Metals Workshop - An Overview of Bronze, Silver, and Gold  A brief overview for adults on what it takes to Go for the Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards!
 
New Leader Training  To provide new volunteers with a comprehensive and formal training within three months of their appointment relating to: Structure of GSWPA, GSLE-Girl Scout Leadership Experience, Leader and Volunteer Expectations, Troop and Thinking, Meetings, Ceremonies and Resources.  
 
Service Unit Manager Training  As a Service Unit Manager you may have responsibilities.  Come to this workshop to learn some new tactics related to time management, organization, and learning to share and delegate responsibilities.
 
Songs and Games 
This workshop includes songs and games appropriate for all grade levels and abilities.  Learn games as a tool to foster cooperation and teamwork for girls.
Traditions 
Come to this fun workshop to learn about Girl Scout Traditions and Ceremonies.
Crafts S2  This workshop will provide you with great activities to share with your girls.
 
SWAPS  Go back to basics and learn about the Girl Scout tradition of SWAPS.  Learn some fun SWAPS to share with your girls.
 
Tips and Tricks for Leaders  Do you find yourself getting stuck with what to do next with your girls?  Come to a fun workshop to learn some great Tips and Tricks to use at your next meeting or event.
